Alex Nord and team were recognized by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) for one of the Leading Research Achievements of 2025. This distinction highlights work that is shaping the future of brain science, advancing our understanding of neural development and function in ways that could inform new approaches to mental health treatment.
Dr. Theanne Griffith was named a Rising Star of Neuroscience by The Transmitter, honoring early- to mid-career scientists whose work is driving the field forward. Dr. Griffith’s research sheds light on how neural circuits develop and adapt, offering critical insight into brain health across the lifespan.
In addition, work by Karen Bales, David Olson, and John Gray was featured among the “Buzziest Neuroscience Papers”, a designation that recognizes studies generating exceptional attention and discussion across the scientific community.
