A Letter from our Director

Welcome to the Institute for Psychedelics and Neurotherapeutics Newsletter!

It’s been nearly two years since the IPN was founded, and the progress has been truly inspiring. We’ve hired several new people who are deeply committed to our mission, began moving into our new laboratory space, and published several important discoveries.

Additionally, DLX-001 became the first IPN drug to successfully complete phase 1 studies demonstrating proof of brain activity without inducing hallucinations. We are very excited to see how it performs in phase 2 studies of major depressive disorder and look forward to seeing other IPN compounds enter the clinic in the future.

In this issue, you’ll find stories about collaborative science demonstrating how the IPN’s unique structure is helping to push the frontiers of science. You’ll also meet some of the students and staff who are making the IPN’s vision a reality. As always, thank you for believing in our mission and joining us on this extraordinary journey to find new solutions for promoting mental wellness.

Sincerely,
