Bio

Christina Kim received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford University. After completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, Christina started her lab in the Center for Neuroscience and Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis in 2021. Her research develops molecular technologies to study the biochemical and functional properties of neurons that regulate behaviors disrupted in neuropsychiatric disorders. She is a recipient of a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award at the Scientific Interfaces, the NARSAD Young Investigator Award, the Searle Scholars Award, MIT TR35 Top 35 Innovators Under 35, the Beckman Young Investigator Award, and the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award.
